“What makes me laugh?” “What brings me joy?”
I asked myself these questions this morning and realized that while I could easily answer the second question, it was more difficult with the first. Moreover, I could not remember that last time that I laughed — really laughed.
So, dear readers, I am taking a break from posting to this blog, and going off in search of laughter. Except for three more “calendar pages” that are already scheduled, you may not hear from me for a while.
I encourage you to cultivate joy and laughter in your own life so that you can again spread them widely.
Hiya Doris
Don’t know about this email and your ‘taking a break.’ Am wondering if I should be concerned about this. In fact, I am. While laughter is important, cuz you’re sharing something or another, well, sometimes you are, sometimes you see a comedy act that’s pretty funny and you find yourself laughing.
Do you have plans to go ‘somewhere?’ You have to tell me eh.
That picture that you sent isn’t all that funny, it’s pretty weird! And weird counts as in, well, weird! I love that picture, same as I like weird. Where did you take it?
Love to you dear Doris,

Thank you for your concern, Linda. No need, though. I am fine. Not going far, although I went to Siesta Key this morning for the first time in more than 8 months!
I came across these stones in Rockport (MA) several years ago when I was doing the rounds of B&Bs in New England.
Be well.

Not completely away from all screens, but trying to be. Today, I found some YouTube videos on “laughter therapy”! You can’t help but laugh when doing the exercises with the leader!

Thank you, Elaine. Yesterday, I found some YouTube videos of Sebastian Gendry on “Laughter Wellness.” In one TED talk especially, he shows some laughing exercises. Once you get over any self-consciousness, the exercises are fun and do make you laugh!
